IJM Update & Thank You

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:

to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?"

~ Isaiah 58:6

Again this year our Vestry has approved a $2000 donation to fund the work of International Justice Mission(IJM) to build a safer, more just world where everyone can expect to protected from slavery, exploitation and abuse. This donation and those given by individual Grace members during the Red Sand Project will fund a year of trauma-focused therapy for a survivor of online trafficking.

Ending slavery doesn’t stop with rescue. Support, like that given by Grace Church, makes it possible for a victim to become a survivor. Survivors are leading the fight to end slavery as the experts who truly know what is needed to rescue and restore victims and prevent others from becoming enslaved. And we are part of lifting them up and empowering them to do the work they want so much to do.

As Area Leader for IJM in North Central Florida, I am profoundly grateful for your support and for your willingness to join in this fight.

Until all are free,

Deacon Mary
