Mary Baggs Interviewing Ann Anderson
1- What’s your ‘go to’ bible verse to get you through the day?
I love to end each day with the prayer: Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray thee Lord my soul to keep, if I shall die before I wake, I pray thee Lord my soul to take.
2- Briefly tell us about a recent fun activity you and or your family participated in and why.
I have always created my gifts and arrangement for the annual Christmas Bazaar. This year I’ve decided to make and simply gift them, providing me with a way to stay busy, as I miss my Grace family so much. I’d love to hear from you, or call me to plan a time you could visit on my beautiful property in Ocklawaha.
3- Do you have a recipe or take-out meal recommendation you’d like to share?
I recently had a wonderfully delicious take-out meal on the back deck of my home with my neighbors. If you haven’t had Gator Joe’s fried catfish dinners, I’d recommend you try them!
4- With Advent around the corner, tell us about a family advent tradition or how you prepare for our saviors’ birth in your home.
Flashback to the 1970’s when Father Al Durrance was our rector. I started and have thoroughly enjoyed the tradition of clipping greens from my garden to create Advent wreaths with Father Durrance and the Grace church families.
