1-What is your ‘go to’ bible verse to get you through the day?
“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ~Jeremiah 29:11
2-Briefly tell us about a recent fun activity* you and or your family participated in and why.
As a result of COVID, we have not had family activities, except our daughter was married on August 15th. It was not the large wedding that was planned, yet an intimate and beautiful ceremony at Grace with twenty special people in attendance.
3-Do you have a favorite recipe or take-out meal recommendation you would like to share?
We have needed to make several trips to Ft. Myers lately, so take-out dinners have been a must. I would highly recommend Ford’s Garage for fantastic burgers, look for one on your travels in south Florida. I am gluten-free, and they even have gluten-free buns!
4- Beginning Monday April 12, Father Frans, on behalf of Grace Church, will be hosting weekly Alpha classes. You may invite friends, colleagues, or family members who have questions about God. What would you say to invite/ encourage guests to these free exploratory online sessions?
My wife and I took the Alpha course several years ago. It provides a forum to better understand God and to ask questions about what it means to be a Christian. Any question is received and people with any level of knowledge of God and the Bible will benefit from this class.
