The 78th Annual Grace Bazaar is Coming!

The ECW Holiday Bazaar will be held this year on November 7th and 8th!  There will be a Sip and Shop event on Friday, November 7 from 5 – 7 pm and the Bazaar will take place Saturday, November 8 from 9am – 2 pm. Please put these dates on your calendar now and plan to attend.

All Gracers are encouraged to help with this event. Last year we were able to raise $10,000 for charities serving women and children in our community.  With your help we hope to make this year even bigger!

We need all types of hand-crafted items to sell.  This might include baskets, jewelry, woodworking, painting, ornaments, tote bags, candles, needlework, knit or crocheted items, jams, relish, candy, snack mixes, wall hangings, pet items, beauty products, cards, key chains, magnets, signs, yard art, children’s items, pottery, plants you grow, or holiday décor to name a few.  Please contact Carolyn Ayres at 352-286-8536 if you would like to donate items or have questions about anything you might make.

We need any type of jewelry you no longer wear.  This is always a great seller.  Please contact Joan Croye at 352-804-5809 if you have jewelry you would like to donate.

We need pre-loved, good quality Christmas and holiday items.  Please contact Elaine Heitman at 704-840-6897 if you have items you would like to donate.

We need items for our raffle and/or silent auction. (We already have 2 handmade quilts!) This could be anything from assorted gift cards to event tickets, gourmet treats, meals at local restaurants, stays at vacation spots, experiences such as spa or beauty treatments or services like lawn mowing, house cleaning or haircuts that you can provide.  Please contact Dianna Labeur at 352-229-2717 if you would like to contribute to the raffle.

We need homemade soups and casseroles.  This is another great seller.  If you can donate food items, please contact Jackie Blasucci at 352-817-5942 for specific information about quantities, packaging and labelling of food items.

We need homemade baked goods for our bake sale. Please contact Lynn Noble at 352-895-5887 for particulars about donating items for the bake sale.

Please look for more information about the Bazaar in the coming weeks.  If you have questions or need additional information about the bazaar or how you can help, please contact Carolyn Ayres at 352-286-8536 or mcdayres@gmail.com

I enjoyed reading about the 78th annual Grace Bazaar and how it brings the community together with food, crafts, and shared time, because it reminded me of the school fairs that made my weekends fun. During a heavy research period I used Web of Science Journal Publication Services that I personally used to shape my draft into something clearer before submission, and that helped me feel more confident. It makes me see that clear work and community moments both make life richer.
