Are you excited to have worship together in-person again? I am! I cannot wait to see everyone’s faces and hear all your lockdown stories.
For that to happen, Grace Church needs your help! In order to keep everyone safe, we are going to implement some new precautions and systems. While many of these are going to be handled by the clergy and staff, some will require volunteers. All of our volunteers will be provided with masks and gloves. Here are some specific types of volunteers we will need.
The Clean Church Crew – After each service, this team of volunteers will wipe down all the surfaces that are likely to have been touched (e.g. doorknobs, pew backs, etc.) throughout the church. This will allow the parishioners and guests at the next service to be able to worship without worrying.
Extra Ushers – The role of our faithful ushers will be expanded as they will be in charge of dismissing rows at the end of the service, guiding people to overflow space, and so on. We will need more than the usual number of ushers to make it all happen.
