Photography Rules

All Photographers must speak briefly, either by phone or in person, with the Priest or the Wedding Coordinator prior to the wedding. Since a wedding is a religious service, there are restrictions.

  • The altar area is not a 'stage' and should not be used as such for photographs.

  • Pictures may be taken during the service.

  • No flash photography during the service.

  • Photographers must stay behind the crossing at all times during the service.

  • An unmanned video camera is permitted in the choir loft and must be in a fixed position. Under no circumstances can it be moved during the service.

  • Any movement has to be kept to a minimum and must be very discrete.

  • The photographers will have time after the service for posed pictures.

  • Any questions please contact the church office.
