As we take steps toward realizing our vision for the future of Grace Church, it is
essential that we walk where God is leading us. God’s Word promises us that he will give us
wisdom in every small and large decision. We know that his wisdom will guide us to follow
where he is leading us if we ask for his guidance.
Over the weeks of this process, the Grace chapter of the Order of the Daughters of the King will be praying for the Alignment Team, and all of Grace Church, that we do not get ahead of God, but that we follow him carefully as we walk this road ahead. We will share with you prayers and other tools we can all use to help you focus our hearts and minds on God’s will for us.
As we begin our journey, this is our prayer:
Heavenly Father, as we plan for our future, open our eyes and hearts to the opportunities for the vision of Grace Church. We ask your blessings on the Alignment Team as they begin their work. We pray in Jesus' Name. Amen.
Our prayers no matter how short and choppy, how humble our efforts, are very acceptable to
God. As Billy Graham said “God hears our prayers on all occasions, whether we’re praying out
loud or praying silently in our hearts and minds”
