1-What is your ‘go to’ bible verse to get you through the day? Why is it special to you?

I love the whole Bible and have so many favorite verses but one of my most favorite is Matthew 6:33-34

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

I truly believe if we put God first in all we do, living one day at a time, our lives will go according to His plan.

2- Each of us have gifts and talents. Please share one or more of your gifts and or talents and how you are currently or could use them to help others at Grace or in our community.

God tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to pray without ceasing. I love praying for others and for Grace Church. It helps me to have God’s peace that passes all understanding and I hope it brings peace and healing to others.

3- What is it that Grace Church has, (like a secret sauce) that engaged you, and keeps you engaged, week after week?

My journey at Grace began in utero. When I walk in, I believe I am standing on Holy Ground and that there are angels all around. I feel the very presence of God every time I come to Grace. I love everything about it!

4- During Lent, several Grace church members are reading and participating in group discussion with the book: “What’s so amazing about Grace?” written by Philip Yancey. Yancey writes: “Many years ago I was driven to the conclusion that the two major causes of most emotional problems among evangelical Christians are these:

1. the failure to understand, receive, and live out God’s unconditional grace and forgiveness;

2. the failure to give out that unconditional love, forgiveness, and grace to other people.”

Knowing that it is easier to share grace with others you know or who are kind, reflect on a recent event or situation. Share a recent experience you’ve had either receiving or giving grace.

I do believe God gives His Grace at special times when it is really needed but I also like to believe that He gives it to us each and every day as it is needed. We just have to pay attention and receive it. So, whether in the small things or the big His grace is always available. Grace Church is a good place to receive His grace.
